Used Marconi Multisevice Routers
ASX4000M
The used Marconi -Fore ASX4000M multiservice switch router is designed
specifically to meet the demanding needs of Post, Telephone, and Telegraph (PTT)
agencies, local exchange carriers (LECs), interexchange carriers (IXCs), and
emerging service providers as they build or enhance their networks for
next-generation IP services. It's also an ideal choice for large enterprise
WANs. Based on the award winning ASX4000 platform, a used ASX4000M provides a
reduced footprint and increased port densities for use by service providers at
the service delivery edge of the network.
A scalable, high-performance 40 Gbps switch router, a used ASX4000M supports
a wide range of interfaces from discrete DS-1/E1 to OC-48c/STM-16c. The ASX4000M
uses the ASX4000 card cage, fabrics, switch control processors (SCPs), software,
and port cards. And with the Network Module Carrier Card (NMC), a used ASX4000M
can re-use all Series E and select Series D ASX/TNX network modules.
A used ASX4000M is ideal for use as an edge aggregation point for low-speed
multiservice connections, including ATM, Frame Relay, CEM, and Ethernet. It also
can function as a mid-size core supporting OC-3c/STM-1c (ATM and packet over
SONET [POS]), OC-12c/STM-4c (ATM and POS), and OC-48c/STM-16c (ATM and POS)
interfaces. Additionally, the ASX4000M is perfectly suited to deployment in
large Enterprise WANs. Any combination of service interfaces and higher-speed
uplinks can be supported.
Service providers are constantly faced with pressure to reduce costs while
offering traditional and next-generation services. The flexible and scalable
architecture of the used ASX4000M enables service providers to utilize the same
platform for direct customer traffic termination, aggregation of digital
subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) and Frame Relay traffic, and core
applications.
Marconi offers high-density interfaces, including channelized and unchannelized
optical port cards, channelized electrical interfaces, and discrete electrical
interfaces. And with the IP Routing and Forwarding (IPR) port card, a used
ASX4000M can operate as an MPLS gateway device, bridging the gap between the
current multiservice network and future IP/MPLS networks.
Used Marconi Multiservice Switches
ASX
200BX, ASX1000, and ASX1200
The ASX200BX, ASX1000, and ASX1200 provide an extensive suite of features and
supports a wide range of network modules, allowing for future growth while
protecting your investment. The redundant design of the ASX switches means there
is no single point of failure, which translates to unrivaled network
availability. With these capabilities, the ASX switches are ideal for customer
premise equipment in enterprise applications as well as for WANs in large
enterprises.
Just over 4 inches high,a used ASX200BX features a 2.5 Gbps switching fabric in
a modular chassis that supports up to 32 ports. It is compatible with the most
extensive line of ATM interfaces in the industry, including T1/E1 through
OC-12c/STM-4. In addition, it supports Frame Relay, Circuit Emulation (CEM),
10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet, and Inverse Multiplexing for ATM (IMA). The ASX1000
and ASX1200 are modular and scalable from 2.5 Gbps to 10 Gbps. They support up
to 128 ports of the same interfaces as the ASX200BX, and the ASX1200 adds
support for OC-48c/STM-16. Designed for growth, the ASX1000 and ASX1200 are
world-class multiservice broadband switches that support in-service expansion of
port and switching capacity.
All our used ASX switches offer advanced traffic management and shaping
features to support efficient, low-cost networks. Given this tremendous
flexibility, the used ASX200B used ASX1000 and used ASX1200 family is perfect
for customer-located equipment and wide area networking applications.
